Hello! My name is Erin Michelle Franklin and I am a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida. I hold my specialty certification, RNC-OB. I graduated from Palm Beach State College (Associates in Nursing) in 2014 and I am currently working on obtaining my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree at the University of Florida. I am a member of Tau Sigma National Honor Society and have been a member of AWHONN for 7 years. I plan to continue my education, and obtain my Masters of Science in Nursing degree and become a Certified Midwife. This is my passion and has always been my goal since I began nursing school.

I am employed at Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, Florida as a Labor & Delivery nurse. This is a Level III facility which runs an OB-ED for high-risk obstetrical patients. I am proficient in triage, charge nurse, labor & delivery of patients, resuscitating neonates, circulating in the operating room, PACU, and postpartum. I am also the chairman of the bereavement committee for my department and I provide education for the nurses on how to care for this special population of patients who lose their babies.

When I am not working hard at the hospital, I am running around taking care of my 3 children, ages 16, 14 & 6. My husband, David, is also a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at the same hospital, and also working on his BSN at University of Florida. We have some pretty interesting dinner talk, but I am thankful we have each other to understand the hard times and can decompress together. I have discovered a love for traveling and have a long list of places I want to do and see, both in the states and across the sea.
